Creepy Crawley Snuggle Quilt

Snuggle quilts are not only bright and fun but can also be educational. Point out the animals, the sounds they make, or simply cocoon the child in the warmth while you read to them. You can also have the child's name added to their quilt.

This lovely little snuggle machine Tied quilt is bright, fun, and while sitting with your child they can be pointing out the different characters, bears, fish, dog’s pirates and all kinds of creepy crawlies .A great way for any child to learn colours and to count. 

Tied quilts will not have the same flat appearance as one that has been quilted in running stitch; rather it will be soft and billowy. As I use 4 oz batting which is very hard to quilt but makes lovely warm patchworks, I tend to use a combination of both types. 
You can Tie a quilt in different ways; the knot can be on the front or the back of the quilt, you can make fluffy tufts, use buttons, little bells or bows to enhance the work, really whatever pleases you.
