Dorothy and Ruby Slippers Snuggle Quilt

Snuggle quilts are not only bright and fun but can also be educational. Point out the animals, the sounds they make, or simply cocoon the child in the warmth while you read to them. You can also have the child's name added to their quilt.

This snuggle quilt has Dorothy, Toto, rainbows and the ruby slippers from the film the Wizard of Oz. The reverse of this quilt, has the field of poppies fabric, to represent where Dorothy and her companions fell asleep on their journey to the Emerald City. 
I have quilted round a pair of ruby slippers on each square and machine Tied the corner of every block.
